- This is a song I wrote for my Mother not long after I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Who not only saved me, but delivered me from nearly 14 years of drug abuse & alcoholism. My mother disowned me in April 1987 because of the choices I had made ~ but on July 25, 1987 I gave my life to Jesus and after years of earning her trust, we became the best of friends. I lost her to Diabetes July 17, 2010. I miss you Momma and more than ever I am so thankful for your act of love that saved my life! www.SharronKayKing.com
